Dreaming of career training that launches you into healthcare success? The Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship makes that dream easier by helping cover the cost of qualified training programs — including nursing career paths like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) programs.
What This Scholarship Does
This state scholarship offers up to $2,000 per year for up to two years to Michigan high school graduates who want to enroll in eligible career training programs.
Basic Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must:
Be a Michigan resident for the past year.
Have graduated high school in Michigan in 2023 or later (diploma, certificate of completion, or GED).
Not yet earned a degree or credential using this scholarship.

After submitting, you’ll receive an automatic email with next steps and a link to the official Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship application in the Michigan Student Aid portal.
